NBS Biologicals Ltd is a supplier of molecular biology reagents, kits and chemicals to the research industry. We have a strong focus on novel and 'safe alternative' products and represent several major brands in the UK. We have recently introduced own 'NBS' range of electrophoresis products and are also able to source reagents and chemicals in research and bulk quantities.

| Our History |

| NBS Biologicals has been independently trading since 1994, however our company history dates back to the 1950's. The original business was Koch-Light Laboratories, set up in Colnbrook, Buckinghamshire and later moved to Haverhill, Suffolk. Koch-Light was taken over by Genzyme in the 1970's and by New Brunswick Scientific in 1987. New Brunswick refocused the business towards Life Science, changed the name to NBS Biologicals, and in 1989 consolidated the operation with their equipment business in North Mymms, Hertfordshire. |

| NBS Biologicals was acquired privately in 1994 and has been trading from the Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire premises since then. In September 2000, NBS joined forces with Madgebio Ltd, a company specialising in a patented system for high throughput electrophoresis which is being marketed worldwide. In recent years we have become involved in several custom development projects and are currently collaborating on a new product for the detection of parasitical organisms in public water supplies (click here for more information). |

| With a wide ranging product catalogue, we are now introducing new ranges for applications like Spin Column Purification, RNAi and High Density Cell Culture. Together with our supplier brands we will continue to increase awareness of our unique collection of molecular biology products. |
