Lambda Broth: Lambda Broth is useful in the propagation of λ Phage. The broth contains a large quantity of Tryptone, which will provide the growing organisms with the basic nutrients and growth factors needed to support growth1. Sodium chloride is added to the mixtures in various amounts to help maintain the proper isotonic environment for the bacteria during its growth phase.
